Egg  or Tuna Salad

1/2 medium red onion
12 large eggs or 2 cans tuna
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon dry dill weed
2 tablespoons mustard
juice of 1 lemon squeezed
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Chop the onion and soak in a bowl in water. Drain tuna or cover eggs with water in a pot. Bring water to boil and let boil for 1 minute. Remove pot from heat, cover, and let stand for 8 minutes. Cool eggs with cold water, peel, and chop eggs. Squeeze lemon into bowl and remove seeds. Strain onions and rinse to remove onion’s strength. Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix.
