PURPOSE: We
will use the latest in 2-D animation techniques to produce short
animated
projects.
OBJECTIVES:
Learn to storyboard
and implement animation techniques to create
innovative animated stories.
CLASSROOM
PROCEDURES:
Use class time for class work only. Do not
chat, email, download, etc. if it disrupts
class. YOUR class’ rules will be determined by
YOUR class’ behavior.
COURSE
REQUIREMENTS: There
are currently no supplies needed for this
class.
Assignments will mostly be online in and out of class. Each student will vary
in
animation
abilities therefore grades will reflect effort. Class is a combination of follow
along
lecture, individual, and team exercises.
GRADING
POLICY: Each assignment will be
graded based on the criteria below.
A final project will demonstrate each
students learned animation abilities. Throughout the
course, opportunities to gain points in each
category will be announced prior to due date
(ie: no pop quizzes).
