Layers: Layers are part of the Flash Timeline. A Layer Folder is just like any other
computer folder. It is a place to store things. In this case it stores Layers. This is done to
help organize your work and has no effect to the final Flash Movie.
Guide Layer: Guide Layers do not publish with the final Flash Movie so you can place
objects in a Guide Layer and they have no impact on the Final Movie. An object follows
a guide line during animation.
Frames: A single frame inserted into a shot to provide an instant of different image.
Shape Tweens: A Shape Tweens is a type of animation that is placed in a Layer and
enables you to animate an objects Shape from one Shape to
another.
Motion Tweens: A Motion Tweens is form of animation that enables you move an object
around and change it's properties.
Easing In and Out: Easing in and out varies the speed of a motion or shape tween.
